EU $1.2million to CCF disgusting
Shame on you European Union for funding a confused lot led by their unelected warped leader Akuila Yabaki. CCF has the mandate of less than 11 people in Fiji and yet, through this drunked Akuila Yabaki, they have been able to buy media’s attention to propagate their garbage using money like that offered by EU to buy journalists time. CCF is well know for its flip flop behavior when it comes to their support for Frank’s gestapo. One of its main spokesman, Jone Dakuvula, is now John Samy’s number two at the controversial NCBBF team, best known for their draconian style in promoting their unpopular baby charter. Akuila Yabaki is also a member of the NCBBF.
It’ll serve EU well if their spokesperson explain their decision as to why they are promoting pro-2006 coup activists like CCF. Why are they allocating such large sums to a one-man runned pro-Frank office like the CCF instead of reaching out to the real sufferers of the coup, the commoners. Surely, there must be other better ways of allocating those funds to help the law-abiding poor instead of enriching just Akuila Yabaki who has the mandate of only 11 people out of the 800,000, or 0.00001% of the total population of Fiji.
So who and what are you Akuila Yabaki and your CCF group? Who gave you the right to speak to us or for us? Your CCF is nothing more than a sham. It has bore rotten fruits like yourself and Dakuvula and that in itself is evidence enough of how corrupt your group’s thinking is. Stop the bull and just admit that all this CCF fracas is your way of creating employment for yourself and your group of 11 directors. And shame on EU for their selective pro-Frank’s coup elitist sponsorship. We think EU office in Fiji should spend more time with other genuine democracy and human rights fighters other than that fake Akuila Yabaki and his CCF.
The other glaring question is if CCF can make such a case for $1.2million, why aren’t the pro-democracy bodies not making submissions to EU for funding as well? If we believe in the cause to fight for democracy, then we should state our case for funding too….and believe we can get it too.
After all, this is a cause for justice and truth.
C’mon Fiji, lets not sleep at the wheel!!
