Latest financial result released by FHL should be a major concern to all its indigenous Fijian shareholders. This Fijian commercial enterprise flagship is beginning to nosedive and it’s a direct reflection of the current leadership failure.

You don’t have to be a business wiz to figure out that the success of any company is reliant on the composition of its board and management. And with all the horror stories emanating from FHL about the demoralising and non-commercial habits of its military appointed board and management, this indigenous Fijian company will in no time become an absolute embarrasement.

Sereana Qoro is a  morally and spiritually bankrupt woman. She is a curse to FHL and the Fijian race that FHL represents. Word from within is that the revelation we exposed right here regarding Sereana’s corrupt dealings is rocking the three executives concerned, Sereana, Aiyaz Mussa and Mosese Volavola to the core and is beginning to strain their relationship. Sources say they are blaming each other on almost everything and that their once thriving money-under-the-table schemes with the Basic Industries contractors is breaking.

Isoa Gavidi a shameful loser

September 30, 2008

As we had reported in our last posting, the faces of coup apologists popping up as they unashamedly take up appointments by the junta is surprising and at times quite revealing. The latest appointment of another coup apologist, Isoa Gavidi, as Fiji’s newest Permanent Secretary of Foreign Affairs is a classic example.

Here is a man whom many thought was ethical and wise enough to understand the repercussion of his own choices. He is, they say, a God-fearing man, once the CEO of FTIB, a military regime appointee to the FIRCA board and was Fiji’s Ambassador to various countries. The latest we heard of him was that he was serving as some kind of a manager to the Fiji Rugby Union. But with abit of diplomatic smooth talking and arm twisting here and there, voila, he is rewarded with a Permanent Secretary job by the junta.

This is a guy who has been unemployed (from a full-time job) for quite sometime and like those other desperate coup apologists, he is willing to prostitute himself and sleep with the devil to pay his bills. Like Fiji’s rep to the UN, Vunibobo, Isoa Gavidi has lost the respect of many people who thought he was a real deal and he is representative of a poisonous minority few who are willing to compromise their values for a piece of Frank’s coup dime.

Of course Isoa, Vunibobo and the likes will argue that they do not support the coup but are simply engaging themselves with the regime to move Fiji forward. But c’mon guys, you are good people and old enough to understand that your decision to raise your hands in helping Frank’s regime is deeper than that. You guys are all broke!!! As the wise  proverbial saying goes, “Don’t be envious of evil people, and don’t try to make friends with them. Causing trouble is all they ever think about; every time they open their mouth someone is going to get hurt.” Does that sound like Frank’s regime to you Isoa Gavidi? Shame on you!

With hindsight, Frank’s 05.12.06 coup has been a blessing in disguise to Fiji in the sense that it has really brought out to the fore the true personality of many people we thought were law abiding citizens. The different faces that are now exposed as coup perpetrators, coup apologists and coup beneficiaries are at times surprising and has definitely shocked many.

These group of people whose names have appeared on bloggers’ shamelist honestly believe that they are doing Fiji and her people a favor. There’s is a twisted conviction that by sowing a wrong, they can somehow magically reap a right. Impossible – for this formula contradicts with the very order of life and is a basic law of nature. You reap what you sow and in Frank regime’s case, he is sowing a seed of coups so naturally, we must expect him to reap coups and nothing else. You can not reap oranges from an apple tree can you? Which means that Frank + Coup = Frank’s Coup, it can’t be Frank + Coup = Peoples’ Charter, …. get it!

Driti and the military’s continued disobedience to pull out the weed and to start planting good seeds means that the weed will eventually outgrow them all and will choke them by drawing life out of them. They will perish, that’s for sure! They have chosen to continue on the easy path and to keep on enjoying their false inheritance they have forcefully usurped and it will come at a great price to them , that is without doubt.

They say they are concerned with the way previous administrations, boards and managements have been conducting themselves which to some degree is very true, but how they’ve dealt with it by choosing to kill, brutalise and oppress Fiji citizens is sowing deadly seeds that are now reaping insecurity, poverty, instability, anger, confusion and chaos.

Only time will reveal how all these madness will culminate into something Frank, Driti and the military will least expect.

Reliable sources from the interim AG’s office who is also the interim Tourism Minister report that a top FHL General Manager is leaving the company for FVB.

Joe Tuamoto, the General Manager for Blue Lagoon Cruises, a subsidiary of FHL, is following the footsteps of those before him and has decided to leave his job for greener pastures. These sources say that Joe is Fiji Vistiors Bureau’s newly appointed Chief Executive Officer.

And sources from FHL confirm this latest development from FHL saying that the staffs’ morale is at an all time low after Sereana Qoro usurped the board and management. They say that the company faces some serious growth problems as senior management personnel continue to leave the company.

Dear Driti,

Driti, now is the time to show your God-given wisdom to take the stand and to declare a changing of the guard! This is an hour of not just faith, for “faith without works is dead”, James 2:17.

You and your military officers were meant to be protectors and guards of the people of Fiji but sadly, you became crusaders of evil who brought about dreadful slaughters. You all were supposed to guard and protect Fiji and her unarmed innocent people, but instead, you are now guilty of the slaughter and torture of people including men, women, youths and children.

The honourable and respected characteristics of the Fiji Military Forces we once knew is no longer there. In its place, the characteristics of a deathly and deceitful Black Guard has taken office in the form of Frank Bainimarama. He has used all of you to commit crime against humanity and against the principles of Christianity you’ve all been initiated into. He has converted all of you to commit murder for money and power, denying the power of Jesus, and grossly twisting the Word of God. Under Frank’s evil influence, he has turned you and the military into rogues and pirates who have become loaded with overwhelming wealth of false inheritance.

Driti, we are called to be soldiers of the Army of God, not army of the beast that Frank represents. The revered Queen Elizabeth Barracks has become the table of slaughter, Frank’s holy of holies for his supplication and blood sacrifice to feed the beast he serves.

You are the chosen one Driti. You have the huge mandate to confront and expose the sin and iniquity that travails over Fiji. It is urgent that we pull down Frank’s office and the bloodshed now! Let Frank continue to consummate with the Jezebellic, take-over, coup beast he worships in New York while you continue on with your march to salvage Fiji and her people from doom.

Be wise Driti and put on the whole armour of God. Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.

In Jesus name, rise up you mighty soldier! You have all our blessings and our forgiveness. May the blood of Jesus cover and protect you and all of us and may God Bless Fiji!

May all Chistians reading this blog right now stand in agreement that in Jesus name, Frank’s office has fallen through the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in Driti’s life! Amen and Amen!!!!

While many will think that Epeli Ganilau has been demoted by Frank, sources from within has revealed that the appointment is a strategic move in preparation for a possible snap election. Fiji is dealing with warfare minded people and the 22 months history of this military regime is littered with smoke-screening strategies that are out-manouvered by truth-telling from citizens and friends of Fiji. Truth always prevails and no one can ever out-smart it including Frank and his ill-conceived strategies with its blotted smoke screens.

The idea is to appoint their wannabee chief and failed Vice President nominee as interim Provincial Development and Multi-Ethnic Affairs with the hope that people in rural areas will be bought by his so-called chiefly status, his charm and his waffles.

Nailatikau’s new office is really meant to be the political campaigning arm of Frank’s regime in preparation for a snap election they just can not prolong any further due to the immense pressure from the international and local communities.

Cassanova Nailatikau is Frank’s unsaid political party campaign director and Frank is wasting no time in putting his champion to work. This hurried appointment is clear sign that the coup maker has some sense of urgency for something important. That something could very well be the March 2009 election announcement. Frank’s letter to the Pacific Forum to re-engage in talks also support this possibility as court cases against the junta and the individuals involved in it continue to pile up against them.

This surprise March 2009 election announcement by Frank will obviously be used to win that much needed support from the electorates, the international community, but more so to reduce his imminent treasonous sentence term that will be announced by Anthony Gates soon.

John Sami and Frank Bainimarama’s charter has failed. Now, the ex military Commander has been hastily called in to run a parallel campaign to the charter but this time, to be in the form of appeasing voters by providing infrastructural developments and other multi-ethnic vote buying gimmicks. It is also meant to buy the support for Nailatikau as Vunivalu, an open door to his future appointment as President after Frank.

There are strong indication that majority of the people in Fiji are behind Driti and the military to remove Frank while he is in New York.

Observers say that Driti’s decision to make the move will be welcomed by many. They say that it will make Driti and the military become instant heroes instead of villans. Sources from Fiji also say that many movers and shakers in the private sector and the legal fraternity are also on standby to provide Driti and the military financial/legal support to defend them from Frank and his backers.

Sources say approaches of soughts has been made to Driti and the ball is now in Driti’s court. This is the only bloodless way of bringing Frank’s madness to a stop and is the only opportunity for Driti and the military to make good with the majority of Fiji’s populace they have wronged.

Is Driti the chosen one?

September 24, 2008

Now that Driti is the acting Commander, many are looking to him to execute that most important task of all i.e to peacefully remove Frank and demand that the President recall Parliament  and so on and so forth.

Driti is well known for his ability to say it like it is to Frank. Sources have pointed him out as the one that Frank is trying very hard to manage. His appointment to act in his absence is Frank’s way of showing his detractors that Driti is still a strong supporter of his cause. But is Driti on the same page as Frank?

Those close to Driti say that the guy is very apologetic about his behavior in torturing civilians soon after the 2006 coup, an act that will most definitely put him behind bars when the long arm of the law finally reaches him. It was a deplorable and unacceptable behavior by Driti. But Driti may just be able to save himself and the people of Fiji by extending his acting role further.

C’mon Driti, clear your conscience and do the right thing. Fiji and her people need you right now to save them! They will support you all the way! JUST DO IT DRITI!

Results first Annie Rogers!

September 24, 2008

The rantings from FTIB’s new CEO, Annie Rogers, is unimpressive to say the least. It makes one yawn. While we acknowledge her in-depth knowledge on the ins-and-outs of Fiji’s economy, she should swallow a wisdom pill that’ll make her zip up for now until she starts producing some serious results.

It’s very stupid of Annie to spill her maiden speech the way she did. People are tired of all the fantangaling words coming out of the regime and its off-shoots like FTIB. They want action and hard evidence that yes, their life has improved as promised to them by Frank and his cohorts.

Annie must realise that she is an appointee of Frank’s junta which means that all her words and actions will be stripped down and scrutinized like never before. Her opportunistic nature is confirmed by her willingness to serve under Frank’s illegal regime and that’s fine, it’s her own personal choice she must now deal with. But she must be reminded to just get on with it, get her hands dirty and start converting those wishful investment proposals into reality. Annie should realise that winning investors confidence is a totally different ball game from trekking and forecasting historical and futuristic economic data she is used to. Instead of being a watchdog, she is now the initiator and a hassler.

So Annie, stop that fanciful blurbs and impress people not by words but with your positive result.

Since FHL’s coupster came into power, Sereana Qoro has wasted no time in weeding out staff members whom she suspected were too loyal to the previous board and management. Key minds resigned immediately after the take-over taking with them years of undocumented experience and deal-crafting techniques that was the hallmark of FHL’s success.

Sources from FHL are now reporting that workers at all subsidiaries are still resigning almost every other week. They say that most of these senior staff are frustrated with Sereana Qoro’s inexperience, poor management style and very weak business acumen. Some complained that she locks herself away in her office and has never taken the time to know them, a complete contrast to what they were exposed to with the previous management team.

It is also understood that Sereana has hired a good number of ex-Adi Cakobau School loyalist to positions they are unqualified for. She is an old scholar and President of ACS. A position she takes seriously to show-off to other ex scholars that she is the “anointed” one. FHL’s new Public Relations Officer is one of these hand-picked ladies. She was chosen by Sereana to fend off the bombardment of negative publicity eminating from bloggers and the mainstream media towards her boss’s self-styled appointment. But so far, the lady has hardly squaked. Sources say she spends most of her time doing Sereana’s ex-ACS Presidency work like taking minutes and making tea for the ACS Old Girls meetings at the FHL Boardroom.

These sources reported that the FHL head office has also become a military office with senior members of the military spending most of their time roaming into the building demanding to have a cup of tea with Sereana. They say her office has become a tea and coffee hole for the greenies while the tenants at RaMarama, like the popular Kahawa Coffee Shop has closed down due to Sereana’s inability to negotiate a reasonable tenancy deal to convince them to stay on. By the looks of it, the key staff are leaving and so are the business clients of FHL. What a poor show for someone who claims to be the anointed one!

Mahendra Chaudhry has lost his appeal and the trust that many of his Indo-Fijian followers had for him is evaporating. He is fighting tooth and nail to try and mobilise his power base; an exercise he is finding very hard to muster given the hard truths exposed by the media and the bloggers that has pinned him down as a first-class political thief. His $2 million in Australia is proof of his thieving feat.

Truth-telling is the best weapon of all. Revelations from the two USP academics about Chaudhry’s stubborness to follow their advice in averting the coup is very revealing indeed. RFN can also confirm that some ex-workers from Turtle Island Resort have spoken and said that Frank and Chaudhry spent a weekend together at the resort some weeks before the coup. They said that the two were engaged in long discussions on their beach beds which continued on to the confines of their own bures. These workers said the two were joined by the resort owners in some instances but were mostly alone together talking.

Why was Frank and Chaudhry holidaying together in a remote but expensive island resort just before the coup? Could it be a coincidence? No, we don’t think so! The obvious is there for everyone to speculate on but it was definitely a precarious kind of holiday.

Word from New York is that Frank’s entourage to the Big Apple has put in a special request to the UN that a back entrance be used as Frank’s entry to deliberate his speech. This special request was made to avoid any unsightly confrontation organised by some democracy and human rights activists who are planning to shame Frank and his group during their grand entry to the UN Head Office.

Frank’s tail will surely be tucked between his legs when he is on US soil knowing full well that his tyranny and human rights violation status will automatically disable him. Word is that the white fox Vunibobo has gone to great lengths to try and line up some high profile UN diplomats and business people to attend Frank’s cocktail but the response from the diplomatic corp and the business community in New York has been dismal. But the Fijian community in the East Coast will act as fillers with some Fiji-born coup apologist expected to grace the occassion to enjoy that unfettered access to Fiji’s murderous tyrant, Frank Bainimarama.

Now that Frank is ready to depart Suva for his 11pm flight to Los Angeles, the moment has come to see some wisdom at play in the QEB camp in collaboration with their chief, the President. Many things can happen in the absence of the strongman and both the military and the President are lucky to be presented with another chance to say their final goodbye to the tyrant when he sinks into his Air Pacific 747 business class seat 1A in a few hours time.

Will they decide to save Fiji from it’s downward spiral to the bottomless pit of doom or will they continue to support their treasonous Commander who has dragged them and the people of Fiji to a disastrous state of affairs?

Is there a real soldier left in the confines of the QEB willing to risk it all to save Fiji, her constitution and her people?

Is the President game enough to direct his soldiers to round up all the serving members of the interim government as the beginning of a new journey towards his own redemption and democracy for Fiji?

These are questions that are being discussed amongst many as they wait with bated breath for any development that may arise from Frank’s New York voyage. While there has been talks of a planned bloodless change of guard during Frank’s absence, senior members of the military are said to be in a state of paralysis due to the lack of trust they have for their own peers. They are worried they might be left hanging alone by their fellow officers who are afraid to take Fiji out of military control for fear of being tried under the rule of law.

For many of these military officers, they seemed to have been pricked by a dose of realism after noticing that what their Commander had brainwashed them with is not coming to fruition. Instead, what has come to pass is the growing condemnation and rejection of Frank’s regime by the people.

The unfair treatment meeted out to the CRW boys in 2000 seem to be repeating itself here. But instead of George Speight and his nationalist rebels piggy-backing on the innocent CRW elite gun-power, the rebel is now in the form of Frank Bainimarama himself piggy-backing on his innocent military forces.

Will these peacekeeping mavericks be able to figure out the glaring point of difference between George and Frank? We can only hope they can for the main difference between George’s coup and Frank’s coup is by name only. They are both illegal and they both used the military as the convenient means to their power hungry end.

Fiji’s military and the President must wake up and remove Frank!

What goes around comes around and Taito Waradi is getting walloped again by that old adage. Now that he has been kicked out as Chairman of FDB by his line-interim Minister, Frank Bainimarama, the guy has finally realised that Frank doesn’t think highly of him. He has already been booted from his interim ministerial role and now this.

With Waradi taking his new position as an observer standing from the outside looking in, he must be regretting selling his soul to Frank. The guy who fired FDB’s CEO, Tukana Bovoro has been fired by the man from hell himself. Now, it’s Bovoro’s turn to laugh while he pushes on with his court case in suing the bank and its Board for unfair dismissal.

Koila Mara sulks even more

September 22, 2008

The non-appointment of Koila Mara as CEO FTIB has put a strain on the relationship between the two Epeli’s and Aiyaz Kaiyum. The three interim cabinet members are said to be at odds with just about everything raised by Kaiyum in cabinet. That was to be expected given the high hopes by Koila that the job was hers.

But thanks to the pressure administered by bloggers, FTIB Francis Narayan and his line-interim minister understood that they were going to fight an uphill battle if they were to endorse Koila. Now that Koila has been shafted by another woman, Annie Rogers, for that FTIB top job,the jealous and vengeful hearted Koila will definitely look for ways to make life miserable for those who have rejected her. And her ex business partner Ulamila Fa is having the last laugh. Sorry Koila, you ain’t good enough!

The illegal Acting Chief Justice, Anthony Gates, continue to marshall in support from the local legal fraternity by appointing those who are deemed to be friendly towards him. RFN can confirm that another local lawyer is earmarked to be sworn in by Gates as Fiji’s newest Judge.

And this newest Judge is said to have become very close to Gates through the local white-collar gay community network that one of his family member is  part of. Sosefo Inoke is already referring his clients to another lawyer friend and is closing his practice in preparation for his swearing in.

Sources said that this Rotuman native is expected to take up his new position soon. They said that Sosefo is a dishonorable man who has no respect for his close relative, the ousted Chief Justice Fatiaki who is also from Rotuma. They added that the golf fanatic Sosefo who is often seen slumped over the Vatuwaqa Golf Cub bar is an overly ambitious guy who will revert to unethical mannerism to propel his career path and business opportunities.

But after all is said and done, one thing is for certain. That small island of Rotuma is more divided than ever and has an unhealthy batch of unprincipled, corrupt individuals who have brought disrepute to that otherwise friendly island.

That tall falla, Pramesh Chand lost all the respect he once enjoyed from the masses when he stupidly decided to crawl back to Frank’s hole at 4th floor. He was belittled by Frank in many occassion to the point where the usually cool headed Pramesh decided to throw a tantrum back at the coup maker. That battle of tantrums between the two saw Chand walk angrily out of 4th floor and straight to PSC office at Berkley Crescent where he threw his resignation letter onto that clueless pony-tailed PSC Chairman. His antic kinda worked. Frank immediately made a public call for his return and started pumping poisonous air back into tall falla’s deflated ego.

Pramesh Chand made the biggest mistake of responding to Frank’s dog whistles. Frank is well known for reneging on his promises. Yet Chand thought it was important he return to finish off his arch enemy, Mahendra Pal Chaudry, which he did by convincing Frank to follow the advice given by the Military Council to terminate Chaudhry’s services as interim Minister for Finance. But he need not have done that for Chaudhry was self-destructing anyway and was proving to be Frank’s worst nightmare. Chaudhry was going to be kicked out regardless with or without Pramesh’s advice.

Chand is now realising that Frank has no loyalty. He is back in the lions den and Frank will eat him alive for lunch. Actually, the guy is already munching on Chand’s drumstick by not hiding the fact that it is John Samy’s advice he is adopting now, not Pramesh Chand’s. And to prove it, John will be travelling with Frank to New York and then to Washington DC as his key advisor. It is John Samy that Frank is depending on to save him from his life imprisonment. That is assuming of course that John’s convoluted charter will not be assassinated prematurely by the virtue of the populace outright rejection of it.

Sources close to Pramesh are saying that he is feeling hurt that Frank is lending his ears to John Samy, the highly paid temporary consultant who seem to have cast a spell over the hypnotized strongman. Samy’s charter is like a bible to Frank to the point that he will evangelise its content to the upcoming UN world leaders in New York. Pramesh has failed to talk sense to his boss and in the process has failed in his duties to promote what is best for the people of Fiji. He should be ashamed of himself and resign for good, not cunningly like before.

The rather quiet but brilliant ex Governor of Reserve Bank and ex Minister of Finance, Jone Kubuabola, is a man of very little words. But when he does speak, his statements are usually very weighty and full of wisdom.

His commments about the multi-million dollars loan from China promoted by our local China man, Jim AhKoy should be considered by the current acting Finance Minister, Frank Bainimarama. The guy has been there, done it, and he knows what he is talking about. This is the guy who advised Qarase to adopt an expansionary fiscal policy to revive Fiji’s ailing economy after Frank’s coup of 2000. And it worked spectacularly.

Now, Frank must not be stupid to try and re-invent the wheel. The winning formula is a proven product with the economic and financial genius of Jone Kubuabola. If Frank is smart, he should take heed of Kubuabola’s advice and tread very carefully with the overly ambitious chinese dollars Jim is wanting to bring in. After all, if Jim is to be believed in saying that billions of Chinese dollars is just lying idle in China, how come the oppressive and human rights violating socialist Chinese government is not investing it in their millions of poor Chinese people who need it more than Fiji? Sorry Mr Office Equipment saleman AhKoy, you ain’t convincing at all!

And why should Fiji be loaning from China when we have so much liquidity in our local financial market? Why pay interest to China when the Fiji government can be paying interest to local financial institutions that is 100% owned by the people of Fiji like FNPF? FNPF has millions of dollars sitting in ANZ not earning any interest so why not give government guarantee to FNPF for a small percentage of that surplus funds sitting lazily in ANZ. Come to think about it, it’s better to enrich our own people and our own local institutions rather than a foreign lender with too many hooks attached to their loan.

Swallow your pride Frank! Go seek advice from Kubuabola. You might just learn some important lessons in growing the economy the real way, not the loser macho man way!

Sereana Qoro’s scam

September 17, 2008

Revelations have surfaced about that FHL self-styled coupster, Sereana Qoro’s dark side. The churchified woman is said to be involved in a racket that involves contractors commissioned to carry out works for Basic Industries, that FHL subsidiary she was in charge of before her boardroom coup.

Sources from these contracting companies confirm that Sereana Qoro and two other senior staff from Basic Industries are involved in her scam. The two senior staff were recently promoted by her, one as FHL Group CFO, Aiyaz Mussa and the other as Basic Industries new CEO, Mosese Volavola.

These sources say that large sums of money has been paid to the three over the years as commission for the contracts awarded to the companies. A trucking company involved in transporting Basic Industries raw materials and finished products has confirmed paying money to Sereana, Aiyaz and Mosese. It is understood that in some instances, Sereana requested they remit the funds directly to an Australian account to pay for her childrens tuition. Other payments were made in cash to the three. Stay tuned for more!

Esala Teleni’s defiance to investigate the treason charges laid against the gestapo he serves simply prove that the guy knows that he and his mates are all dead meat. They all know they have wronged and that every second of their breathing life is pulling them deeper into that dungeon of no hope.

“Any investigation into the matter will create national instability,” he claims. How? Simple – it will be the beginning of an internal war within the military regime itself. Forget about the ordinary folks moving in on them. They know Frank’s regime will implode from within.

What Teleni is really trying to avoid is a possible shooting spree and bloodbath amongst their own people. He knows their backside has been burnt big time by the Qarase led complainants and the poor guy is having major problem recreating another one to relieve his trash. What a terrible situation to be in!

So where does that leave law and order in Fiji? What’s that! Hmm, well there really wasn’t any since December 5th, 2006. Fiji banana republic is still suffering from that tropical bananarama dengue fever.
